HashKey Group Taps Catizen as Its First Web3 Partner for GameFi Initiatives

HashKey Group has announced a new collaboration.

The partnership aims to revolutionize Web3 gaming on TON.

It targets over 20 million global players with compliant digital asset services.

HashKey Group has announced a new tie-up with TON-based mini-game Catizen, making it the group’s first Web3 partner.

Catizen launched in January this year as a casual nurturing gaming bot that combines Telegram and the TON blockchain to create a Web 3.0 traffic “nexus on a scale of hundreds of billions.” The game amassed a global user base of over 25 million less than 6 months after its launch, underscoring its widespread adoption amid TON’s surging popularity.

HashKey Group’s Partnership with Catizen

In a statement on August 19, HashKey Group said its partnership with Catizen would focus on the TON ecology to provide unique Web3 gaming experiences for global players and crypto users alike. Sponsored

The deal will see HashKey Group provide regulatory guidance and technical support for Catizen’s blockchain infrastructure operations, enabling the gaming company to expand its product offerings in the TON ecosystem. In turn, this will also help promote the adoption of blockchain technology in the global digital entertainment field as a whole.

Per the statement, the collaboration’s scope will further entail a joint HSK airdrop campaign, animal protection, social responsibility initiatives, and gamified experiences in digital finance to optimize both parties’ product portfolios and service capabilities.

Tim Wong, Chairman of Catizen Foundation, lauded the partnership, noting that it would enable the gaming company to provide its 20 million global community members with enhanced, reliable, and regulated digital asset services. Sponsored

“Together, we are poised to revolutionize the Web3 gaming landscape, leveraging the Ton ecosystem to deliver unparalleled gaming experiences and drive the global adoption of blockchain technology in digital entertainment,” Wong stated.

HashKey Group said compliant crypto services would be offered via its licensed exchange, HashKey Global.
