Here’s How Much BONE is Currently Staked According to Shiba Inu Official

After days of bad press and a slump in the price of several tokens in the Shiba Inu (SHIB) ecosystem, the team behind the meme coin has come out fighting to show that all is still well.

According to a SHIB ecosystem official going by the social media moniker “Lucie,” members of the Shiba Inu community around the world are still staking huge amounts of Bone Shibaswap (BONE) despite the token losing more than 24% of its value in the last seven days.

News that the recently launched Shibarium layer-2 network experienced numerous technical issues after going live exacerbated BONE’s price decline.

However, per data shared by Lucie on X, the Shiba Inu community staked a total of 5,499,844.1965 BONE on Aug. 17, despite its price decline.

Unification (FUND) had the most staked BONE at 2,803,593, followed by Shibarmy Oregon with 855,362 BONE, Shibarmy Ireland with 439,630 BONE, and Shibarmy N.Virginia with 313,917 BONE.

Other big stakers who disregarded the FUD surrounding Shiba Inu include Shibarmy N.Virginia, who staked 313,917 BONE, Shibarmy Seoul with 218,204 BONE, Shibarmy Singapore with 312,713, Shibarmy Canada with 326,832, and Shibarmy Frankfurt with 220,589 BONE.
