TL;DR Shiba Inu (SHIB) has quickly become the most popular cryptocurrency in Japan, with a highly reputable venture capital firm and leading crypto exchange both adding trading pairs. Meanwhile, Shytoshi Kusama's mysterious journey to Japan appears to have been fruitful, while SHIB Token is experiencing some issues with Twitter suspensions and phishing scams.

Highly-reputable Japanese venture capital adds Shiba Inu trading pairs.

Shiba Inu has been proclaimed the most popular cryptocurrency by one of the leading Japanese crypto exchanges. Japanese Trading Heavyweights Give SHIB the Nod

In other related news, SBI Trade, a top-notch Japanese venture capital, announced the inclusion of Shiba Inu (SHIB). The renowned financial services enterprise will implement Shiba Inu trading pairs on their venture capital trading platform SBI VC Trade.

In their official announcement, SBI Trade explains that the move was made in order to align with the needs of customers and to provide the most comprehensive up-to-date services to businesses in the area.

SBI Trade sees Shiba Inu as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum (ETH), taking inspiration from the original memecoin Dogecoin (DOGE). Following the high demand in Japan, the popular dog-themed memecurrency was also recently added by OKCoin Japan and BitFlyer.

Shytoshi Kusama’s Fruitful Journey to Japan

This comes just a month after Shytoshi Kusama, the mysterious leader of Shiba Inu’s Ecosystem, changed his Twitter location to Niseko, Japan. Even though the Twitter location is now changed again and reads “Miami,” Kusama’s Japanese journey seems to have bore fruit.

Today, Shy dropped another cryptic message on Twitter: “Wen is so last year – the real question is.. Where?” In response, SHIB Token’s moderator team member LucieSHIB added: “I don’t know why Shytoshi is all about #where…Personally, I think with #who?👀 is more important.”

The Shiba Inu community is trying its best to decipher Kusama’s latest tweet. Some members expect it to be related to Shibacon, the first real-life conference for Shiba Inu fans. On the other hand, a large chunk of the SHIB Army thinks it will have to do something with Shiba Eternity, Shiboshis, and Shibacals, as all of these are tagged in the message.

On the Flipside

SHIB Token is experiencing problems on Twitter. The official Shiba Inu burn tracker’s update bot has been suspended since last week.

Prominent members of the SHIB Army report impersonation attempts on Discord while phishing scams are on the rise on Crypto Twitter.
